¡¡Q: How could I get to know how much stone I could load per 20' container?
  • Commonly, for one 20¡¯container, the maximum loading capacity is 27 MTs. Besides, the loading capacity also depends on the weight limitation of the roads or railway in customer¡¯s country. Generally, most natural stone¡¯s specific weight range from 2.6 to 3.0 MTs per cubic meter. And the weight of the marble is around 2.6 MTs per cubic meter while the granite is around 2.7 MTs except for black granite with a density of 3.0 MTs per cubic meter. In addtion, there should be at least 1.0 MTs held for the weight of the wooden crates.
  • Therefore, for America, the quantity per 20¡¯ container load is as follows.
    - for   3/8" thick ,   6459 sq.ft.
    - for   3/4" thick ,   3229 sq.ft.
    - for 1 1/4" thick ,   2153 sq.ft.
    - for 1 1/2" thick ,   1615 sq.ft.
    - for     2" thick ,   1292 sq.ft.
  • For most of the European countries and Middle East, the quantity per 20¡¯container load is as follows.
    - for 10 MM thick , 935 sq.mtrs.
    - for 12 MM thick , 772 sq.mtrs.
    - for 15 MM thick , 617 sq.mtrs.
    - for 20 MM thick , 463 sq.mtrs.
    - for 25 MM thick , 370 sq.mtrs.
    - for 30 MM thick , 309 sq.mtrs.
    - for 40 MM thick , 231 sq.mtrs.
    - for 50 MM thick , 185 sq.mtrs.
Q: How do you prevent the stone products from breakage? If damages happen during transportation,  what can you do?
  • First,  we have professional workers, who are specialized in designing and making various wooden crates or bundles. For different products, such as tiles, countertops, tub surrounds, fireplace surrounds, slabs, they have different way to strengthen the packaging of the goods.
  • Second, for each shipment, we will have the company staff to go to the Port and watch the goods successfullly loaded into the container. They will instruct the dockworkers to strengthen the wooden bundles or crates,  and tell the dockworkers how to make the crates or bundles firmly loaded into the container.  Especially some crates couldn¡¯t be put under another one, sometimes.  Besides, they will take the photos of container loading and make sure that every crates or bundles are shipped in good conditions.
  • If the damage occurred due to the fault of packing, our company will take the responsibility.
¡¡Q: Will the sample I got from you be an exact match to the stone?
  • Because samples represent a small area of the stone, they can be indicative of general coloring, texture, and veining. Stone is a product of nature and will vary, sometimes greatly, from slab to slab and block to block. Two batches of the same stone from the same quarry can look very different.
¡¡Q: Will my granite look like the sample?
  • Since granite is a natural product, with naturally occurring variations in color, tone, granularity, pattern, etc. These variations are expected and are the source of its natural beauty. The samples you see will not be the same when compared to the slabs you receive. A sample is piece from the slab, and since granite is a product of nature they ought to differ. Granites such as Absolute Black, Black Galaxy, and a few more are similar through out having no or very little variation.
